Award for ”Terre di Matraja 2016” red wine

Our ”Terre di Matraja Red 2016” was selected by the ‘BEREBENE 2018’ as one of the best Italian wines priced below 13 Euros.

The Gambero Rosso rates 5 Colleverde wines in the new 2018 guide:

Nero della Spinosa 2014 reached the finals for the 3 glasses
Brania delle Ghiandaie 2014: 2 glasses
Sinopia CabFranc 2013: 2 glasses
Terre di Matraja red: 2 glasses
Terre di Matraja white: 1 glass
The overall comment is: “Colleverde wines have great personality and all with a very authentic taste”

“Doctor Wine” (The Essential Guide to Italian Wines 2018) rates our ‘Sinopia Cabernet Franc 2013’ with 94/100 points and the ‘Brania delle Ghiandaie 2014’ with 92/100 points.

Our “Greco delle Gaggie” dessert wine was awarded as one of the 18 ‘coups de coeur‘ by the wine magazine VINUM at the Biowin Expo Challenge (Montreux).

We are very honoured to appear in this book which lists some of the best wines produced in the most important wine regions, from Europe to South America and from Australia to South Africa: more than 500 pages including an updated Wine Lexicon.

The COLLE VERDE wines mentioned in the book are the “Terre di Matraja White” 2013 (with a special mention) and our “Nero della Spinosa” Syrah 2012, together with a presentation of our organic/biodynamic approach to wine making.
