Grape havest September 2018

A big fun in the sun

The Last day of our grape harvest in September 2018 has arrived and Cabernet Franc grapes are being processed and pressed.

It has been a very long harvest season, starting on August 13th with the Gewürtz-Traminer grapes followed by Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah, Trebbiano and Sangiovese grapes. We were always working in full sun and a good part of the harvest took place at temperatures of 35° C or more. One strongly has to thank the COLLE VERDE staff members for their tireless dedication.
